«How to avoid NIMBY ? The mobilization of associations against the Méditerranée TGV». Jacques Lolive 109-130. The analysis of the conflict over the Méditerranée TGV shed light on the «rise in generality» performed by some associative networks, moving from a local point of view to a general one. This reference to a common good leans on the mobilization of territories which are disrupted by the project, the democratization of the decision processes or the proposal to redefinite the project itself. In this way, the protester associations have established a specific public space, an effective forum for the railway policy.
