The Eliminated Intrinsic Charge Invariant: A Constraint on the Architectural Origin of Charge in Closure Theory This paper investigates one of the principal open questions within the Closure Theory programme: whether observable electric charge sign can be identified with an intrinsic invariant of the Completed Intrinsic Closure (CIC). A broad range of candidate geometric invariants, transported quantities, recurrence structures, Support–Weave asymmetries and topological classifications are examined within the intrinsic T-domain. The investigation demonstrates that none of the admissible intrinsic constructions provides a mathematically satisfactory origin for observable charge sign while remaining consistent with the established transport architecture. Rather than representing a failure of the theory, this negative result significantly constrains the possible location of charge within the Closure Theory hierarchy. The principal conclusion is that observable charge sign does not naturally reside within the intrinsic transported closure itself. Instead, the analysis redirects attention toward relational structure and Projection as the only remaining mathematically consistent architectural locations for the emergence of observable sign. By eliminating the intrinsic charge invariant as a viable explanation, the paper narrows the search for the geometric origin of charge and provides the essential conceptual bridge between the intrinsic Closure programme and the subsequent investigation of projected relational geometry. This paper forms Paper III of the Closure Theory research series. It establishes a fundamental architectural constraint whose consequences are developed in Paper IV, where observable charge sign is investigated as a property of projected relational geometry rather than intrinsic closure.
