Common fixed point theorems in S-metric spaces involving control function

The aim of this paper is to prove some common fixed point theorems for the pair of weakly compatible self-mappings involving control function in the framework of S-metric spaces. Furthermore, we provide some consequences as corollaries of the main results. Moreover, we give illustrative examples in support of the results. The results presented in this paper generalize, extend, unify and enrich several previously published results from the existing literature.
