The article explores the role of information technologies in developing students' physical self-education skills. It highlights the current decline in youth physical activity due to low motivation, lack of time, and insufficient self-monitoring methods. The study reviews recent scientific literature emphasizing the positive impact of digital tools (such as mobile apps, fitness trackers, and online platforms) on student engagement in physical activity. Research conducted among students at the Ukrainian Humanities Institute confirmed a high level of interest in using IT for workout planning and progress tracking. The article outlines promising directions for integrating IT into physical education and offers recommendations for the effective use of digital solutions, considering students' individual characteristics and educators' needs.
