Abstract Ten years of records of growth of individual trees and stands are presented here for high and low thinnings of two intensities in 30-year-old stands of yellow-poplar and associated species. Conclusions drawn at this time apply only to cordwood production and may be subject to different interpretation later when board-foot volumes can be measured and evaluated.
