This study aimed to systematically develop a standardized science curriculum for elementary gifted students that can be utilized in elementary science gifted education institutions of the S Office of Education, thereby contributing to the improvement of the quality of science gifted education and supporting the enhancement of the professionalism of science gifted teachers. The standardized science curriculum for elementary gifted students developed in this study includes core competencies, content system, achievement standards and achievement levels, as well as annual curriculum examples and program examples. In order to maintain the connection with the national curriculum while revealing the uniqueness of the gifted education curriculum, the achievement standards were composed by reflecting the characteristics of gifted students and in-depth educational content, and the gifted education content system was presented by grade level to minimize duplication while maintaining the connection between grade levels. In order to support the enhancement of the professionalism of science gifted teachers in the development and operation of gifted education programs, the achievement standards explanation, examples of inquiry activities, examples of annual curriculum, and examples of programs were presented to provide standards and guidelines for program development. The elementary gifted standardized science curriculum can be used as a reference material for science gifted teachers when operating the curriculum and developing programs, and it can also help form a teaching culture in which developed programs are shared and collaborated. It can also be used as a reference material for the development of the S Office of Education’s secondary gifted standard science curriculum and the development of gifted education curricula in other provincial offices of education.
