In Belgium, around a quarter of M. genitalium infections are resistant to both macrolides and fluoroquinolones -termed multi-drug-resistant (MDR) infections. It is unclear what the best treatment is for these infections. In both cases, this treatment resulted in microbiological and clinical cure.
