This study explores the differential usage patterns of '-eodo' and '-deorado' in concessive constructions using National Institute of the Korean Language Disambiguated Tagged Corpus 2020 (Version 2.0). Employing 'Collexeme Analysis' and 'Distinctive Collexeme Analysis' methodologies, we identified specific collexemes that are attracted or repelled by these two constructions. The collexeme analysis revealed that '-eodo' predominantly co-occurs with collexemes expressing cognitive action in the spoken corpus, and cognitive action, non-intentional action in the written corpus. It tends to be used with neutral semantic prosody in the spoken corpus and negative semantic prosody in the written corpus. In contrast, '-deorado' preferred collexemes representing resultant action, cognitive action, state change in the spoken corpus, and resultant action in the written corpus. Its semantic prosody is typically negative in the spoken corpus and neutral in the written corpus. The distinctive collexeme analysis further confirmed these differences in usage patterns. This study contributes to our understanding of '-eodo' and '-deorado' usage patterns by revealing their distributional characteristics in relation to register and polysemy.
