This article is devoted to the analysis of tutoring activities of future geography teachers and its impact on their training. Through theoretical research, the authors consider the role of tutors in the formation of professional skills and competences of geography students. The authors analyze the methods and strategies used by tutors in the process of teaching and supporting students, and also consider the importance of these activities for the successful training of future teachers. The conducted analysis of professional training of teachers for tutoring activity examines in detail various aspects of this important field of education. It is determined that tutoring activity becomes a necessary component of the modern educational process, as it provides individual or group educational support and mentoring to students and pupils. In particular, the role of the tutor is analyzed, different target audiences are pointed out and the relevance of this type of education in the modern educational environment.
