Abstract. The relevance of studying the lexical-semantic and structural features of construction terminology in the Chechen language is due to the active development of the construction industry in the region and the need to systematize specialized vocabulary. In this regard, this article focuses on analyzing the meanings, origins, and structure of construction terms in the Chechen language, as well as their functional characteristics in both professional and everyday speech. The study employs methods of lexical-semantic, structural, and comparative-historical analysis. The lexical-semantic analysis identifies the main groups of construction terms and their semantic relationships. The structural analysis determines the word-formation patterns characteristic of this terminology. The comparative-historical analysis traces the influence of other languages on the formation of construction vocabulary in the Chechen language. The research results show that Chechen construction terminology includes both native Chechen words and borrowings from Arabic, Turkic, and Russian languages. A distinctive feature of this vocabulary is the use of metaphorical designations that reflect traditional perceptions of construction and architecture. The materials presented in the article provide a deeper understanding of the specifics of construction terminology formation in the Chechen language, contributing to its further systematization and use in scientific and professional contexts.
