Religious tolerance is a multidimensional construct which is influenced by the multidimensional construct of religious identity and outgroup contact as well. Religious identity is not harmful for the outgroup contact and religious tolerance. This is the result of the empirical research among the Catholic secondary school students in Yogyakarta city. It is a confirmation of the conjunctive relationship between religious identity and religious tolerance.
