Tagore is a noteworthy Indian writer who paints the Bengali culture and its influence on society through his writings. This article focuses on exploring the media interpretations of Tagore’s stories such as “Chokher Bali,” or “A Grain of Sand,” “The Unknown Woman,” and “Wife's Letter.” The aim is to analyse how various characters’ lives are ensnared within cultural stereotypes and how they endeavor to transcend these constraints.
