Abstract

مقدمه: امروزه مقوله مشارکت از مفاهیم عمده و اصلی توسعه پایدار، به شمار می‌رود. هدف از انجام این پژوهش بررسی رابطه توسعه و مشارکت اجتماعی در استان خوزستان (شهرستان‌های اهواز، دزفول، باوی، آبادان و لالی) است. روش­شناسی: در این پژوهش از روش پیمایشی (کمی) استفاده‌ شده است. جامعه آماري مورد مطالعه در اين پژوهش مردم استان خوزستان می‌باشند که با 529 نفر انتخاب شد و با استفاده از آماره‌های توصیفی و استنباطی (آزمون همبستگی) اطلاعات تجزیه ‌و تحلیل شده است. یافته‌ها: یافته ها نشان داد، نیل به توسعه و عدالت اجتماعی برای دست­یابی به صلح و امنیت و حفظ آن، چه در درون ملت‌ها و چه در میان آن‌ها ضروری است و این هدف بدون مشارکت شهروندان یک جامعه امکان‌پذیر نخواهد بود. نتیجه‌گیری: بين نمرات پاسخگويان در خصوص متغیرهای وفاق و یکپارچگی اجتماعی، سرمایه اجتماعی، پاسخگویی اجتماعی، رفاه اجتماعی، امنیت اجتماعی، عدالت اجتماعی و پایداری و مشارکت اجتماعی در استان خوزستان رابطه‌ معناداری وجود دارد. با توجه به تأثیر مثبت مشارکت اجتماعی بر روند توسعه‌ در جامعه باید شرایط و بسترهای مناسب برای سوق دادن افراد به درگیر شدن در رویدادهای اجتماعی ایجاد شود.
