Dominique Vervoort

Dominique Vervoort works in Cardiac Surgery affiliated with Sunnybrook Health Science Centre.

Dominique Vervoort was a PhD Candidate in Health Systems Research at the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto and affiliated with the Division of Cardiac Surgery at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. He completed the Paul Farmer Global Surgery Fellowship at Harvard Medical School and served as an advisor for the Global Surgery Foundation and the Johns Hopkins Global Surgery Initiative. He introduced the concept of global cardiac surgery to the literature and advocated for improved access to cardiac surgical care worldwide.
