William C. Little

William C. Little was a cardiologist who held the Dalton B. McMichael Chair in Cardiovascular Medicine and served as Chief of Cardiology at Wake Forest School of Medicine from 1986 to 2013. He then became the Patrick Lehan Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine and Chair of the Department of Medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center from 2013 until his death in 2015. His research focused on cardiac function, heart failure, and related diagnostics.
