István Baczkó

István Baczkó is Professor and Head of the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapy at the University of Szeged in Hungary. He has worked in basic cardiovascular research for more than 28 years at the University of Szeged and spent five years as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Alberta and University of Calgary in Canada. His research focuses on cardiac electrophysiology, arrhythmias, and proarrhythmic risks.
