This research aims to analyze the effect of PGPR concentration and ZA fertilizer on the growth and yield of edamame plants (Glycine max (L) Merrill). This research was carried out from August until October 2024 on Sriwedari Village, Salaman District, Magelang Regency. The research method used was a factorial experiment (4 x 2) with a Split-plot design, repeated three times in blocks. The main plot factor is the concentration of PGPR consisted of four levels: 0, 60, 120, 180 mL / L. The sub-plot factor is the addition of ZA fertilizer with levels: 0 and 200 kg / ha. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance and then further testing with orthogonal polynomial and LSD 5 %. The results showed that the treatment of PGPR concentration up to 180 mL / L showed no significant effect on the parameters of plant height, number of leaves, number of root nodules, number of pods per plant, number of empty pods per plant, pod weight per plant and pod weight per m2. Application of ZA fertilizer at a dose of 200 kg / ha has not been able to increase the growth and yield of edamame plants, but application of ZA fertilizer at a dose of 0 kg / ha gave higher results in the parameter of the number of root nodules. There was an interaction between the PGPR concentration treatment and ZA fertilizer on the parameter of the number of root nodules, but there was no interactions on other parameters.
