The aim of the study is to establish the axiological characteristics of the concept БЗЫЛЪФЫГЪ (WOMAN) in the Adyghe phraseological worldview. The analysis of evaluative connotations of Adyghe phraseological units made it possible to identify key value dominants reflecting traditional ideas about the role and status of women in Adyghe linguoculture, as well as anti-value characteristics associated with negative social stereotypes. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the fact that it is the first work to reconstruct axiological models reflecting traditional norms and gender-based behavioral patterns in Adyghe linguoculture based on phraseological units from the folklore subcorpus of the Adyghe Corpus. The study found that Adyghe phraseology accumulates the cultural code “адыгагъэ” (Adygheness – the system of moral and ethical values of the Adyghe-Circassians), where woman acts as a key symbol of ethnic identity and moral order, and the concept БЗЫЛЪФЫГЪ (WOMAN) is closely connected with such concepts as НАПЭ (HONOR), НАСЫП (HAPPINESS), УНЭ (HOME), ДЖЭНЫКЪО (HEARTH).
