The study of emerging terminologies in new interdisciplinary fields holds significant promise, particularly when conducted in collaboration with experts from diverse domains. Such cooperation is vital for the study on systematic organization of online glossaries containing terminological units of new spheres of knowledge. The relevance of the study stems from the rapid emergence and development of interdisciplinary fields, which demand systematic updates and real-time clarification of the definitions. For example, no comprehensive Russian language dictionaries of neurolinguistics have been compiled yet, despite the growing interest in this domain. Since 2023, the team of authors has been working on the quality of modern online linguistic and lexicographic products by developing a complex of methods for studying, systematizing, visualizing and documenting emerging terminologies in digital glossaries, focusing on the Russian language terminology of neurolinguistics. Neurolinguistics, as an interdisciplinary field, intersects with linguistics, neuroscience, psychology, and cognitive science. The lack of a reliable dictionary hinders researchers, educators, and students from accessing a unified terminology base. Consequently, the absence of standardized definitions leads to inconsistencies in research and complicates communication between specialists from different disciplines. The necessity of developing a comprehensive neurolinguistics dictionary in Russian is further emphasized by the increasing number of studies conducted in this field. In 2024, the team's objectives included the following tasks: selection and replenishment of text material; terminological extraction and a new wordlist compilation; utilizing of corpus linguistics methods and their supplementing with manual refinement to compile a comprehensive list of terms; classification of the selected terminological units and creation of visual representations to illustrate the subject, methods and structure of the given field; revision of the definitions formulated in 2023 and drafting of new ones; creation and hierarchical arrangement of 18 dictionary labels to provide structured metadata for each definition. The outcomes of the 2023-2024 research are presented on the myefe.ru digital platform, where 53 lexical units are accessible through two modes: user accounts and dedicated web pages. Among the results of the study were the terminological lacunas in emerging terminologies identified by the authors. The prospects for the study include interdisciplinary expert assessment of the emerging terminologies and their definitions, as well as research on the identified lacunas.
