The incidence of malignant neoplasms and mortality associated with them remain a major problem for the healthcare system worldwide. One of the ways to solve this problem is identification of oncological diseases at early stages, which, in essence, is also part of the objective of screening of certain groups of adults in relation to its oncological component and relates to the national development goals of the Russian Federation until 2030. The oncological component of regular medical check-up should be discussed in the expert community, that in the long run will allow to increase the detectability of oncological diseases at early stages. Objective. To evaluate the opinion of specialists on the organization of regular medical check-up in part of its oncological component. Materials and methods. The study was performed by the questionnaire method using specially developed questionnaires. The survey involved 367 medical workers engaged in regular medical check-up. Statistical data processing was performed using Microsoft Office Excel programs. Results. The majority of respondents (67.8%) rated highly the regular medical check-up performance in its current form, however 32.2% noted the need to change the order and 45.2% — to make partial changes to the regular medical check-up procedure. Respondents were asked to complete the list of activities/studies of oncological component of screening as well as to make changes in the forms of sectoral statistical reporting. The majority of participants in the study (62.1%) propose to include an examination (consultation) of oncologist in the regular medical check-up program. Organizational technologies (continuity between the cancer service and primary health care providers, and patients’ routing) should be implemented with greater use of information resources in the opinion of respondents. Conclusion. Medical professionals involved in the screening gave a positive evaluation of the oncological component of regular medical check-up, proposed to make a number of additions and changes to the procedure of performing the screening, accounting and reporting statistical forms. In addition, according to the respondents, it is advisable to use modern information technologies more actively when exchanging data on patients with oncological diseases and their routing between medical organizations.
