Children’s social development is shaped by their local cultural norms particularly through interactions with those closest to them. Children are quick to imitate the behaviours of those around them without fully understanding the consequences or appropriateness of such actions. Statistics have shown a year-on-year increase in cases of child physical abuse, often committed by biological parents, which is closely linked to poor interpersonal interactions within the family institution. This study aims to identify the Prophet Muhammad’s approaches and methods of interaction through his social communication skills in speech and behaviour. Adopting a qualitative methodology, this research employs document analysis of classical sources for data collection followed by thematic, deductive and descriptive content analysis. The findings reveal several themes of communicative styles found in the hadith, highlighting the Prophet’s educational and nurturing language in his interactions. The study concludes that the Prophetic approach fosters a harmonious environment in family interactions. Therefore, parents must recognise that early childhood education is a crucial and complex part of human development.
