This article is dedicated to analyzing the artistic portrayal of nostalgia for the countryside in the poetry of Qalkaman Sarin. Based on his poem «Arqattagy bizdin ui», the poet’s longing for village life, warm memories of childhood, and love for the homeland are revealed through lyrical techniques. The poetic language, imagery, and symbolism used in the poem guide the reader toward a deeper understanding of national identity. The study employs comparative-historical methods to analyze the representation of rural themes in contemporary Kazakh lyric poetry. The village is described as a foundation of family values and national spirit, with specific examples from the poet’s works provided. The article highlights the intuitive depth, emotional nuances, and poetic mastery of Qalkaman Sarin. The nostalgia for rural life in his poetry is evaluated as a vivid example of the harmonious fusion of tradition and innovation.
