The article examines the impact of digital twin technology on the optimization of production systems of enterprises and increasing their economic efficiency. The purpose of the study is to identify mechanisms for integrating digital twins into production processes, assess their impact on reducing downtime, improving product quality and optimizing costs, as well as to develop practical recommendations for the effective implementation of this technology. The paper uses methods of comparative analysis, generalization of practical experience and a systematic approach to the assessment of production indicators. The results of the study show that the use of digital twins increases the transparency and manageability of production processes, reduces operational risks, and also provides forecasting and prevention of potential failures. It is noted that the maximum effect is achieved with the integrated integration of technology in conjunction with the Internet of Things and analytical systems. The paper focuses on the industry aspects of implementation and the need to adapt digital twins to the specifics of production processes, while the recommendations formulated by the authors are applicable and relevant in the context of digital transformation.
