The article considers the properties of the agrotechnopark as an innovative factor in the development of the regional economy. The stages of the process of state regulation of the activities of agrotechnoparks are substantiated, allowing to fully use this type of economic entities as an innovative factor in the sustainable development of the regional economy. The category of “agrotechnopark as an innovative factor in the sustainable development of the regional economy” is introduced into scientific circulation. Evidence is presented that the agrotechnopark is precisely an innovative factor in the sustainable development of the regional economy. The most important signs that the agrotechnopark is an innovative factor in the development of the regional economy are highlighted. The main components of sustainability are identified, through which the agrotechnopark ensures innovative influence on the regional economy. A diagram of the innovative influence of the agrotechnopark on the development of the regional economy is constructed.
