The article presents the importance of the implementation of the STEAM project in ecological education for primary school students, aiming at the formation of sustainable ecological culture. The proposed project combines science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics to develop critical thinking and active involvement of students in protecting the environment. By creating best practice guidelines for reducing the ecological footprint, students learn to adopt sustainable solutions and contribute to the preservation of the planet. The stages of the project include awareness, formation of responsible behavior towards nature, and participation of primary education students in concrete actions.
