The article raises the issue of forming the legal culture of future pedagogical specialists in the field of education. It is noted that the formation of the legal culture of future pedagogical specialists in the field of education should be a priority during professional training in higher educational institutions, since the effectiveness and efficiency of the professional activity of this category of specialists in the legal sphere will depend on the acquisition of the necessary legal knowledge, which is a structural component of legal culture, will determine the effectiveness and efficiency of the professional activity of this category of specialists in the legal sphere; the means that contribute to the formation of legal culture in future pedagogical specialists in the field of education in higher educational institutions are identified. In particular, pedagogical situations of a legal nature are highlighted as complementary elements of powerful tools in this process, which integrate a complex of subject knowledge and together contribute to the effective implementation of this process; the substantive essence of the concepts of "pedagogical task", "pedagogical situation", its types, characteristic features and their interrelation are revealed. Such introduction of pedagogical situations of a legal nature into the process of forming the legal culture of future pedagogical specialists in the field of education in the educational process of higher education institutions seems pedagogically expedient, as it is an example of creative methodological progress in this direction. The author also highlights, as a significant prospect for further research into the specified problem, the study of the current level of formation of the legal culture of future pedagogical specialists in the field of education of various specialties.
