Abstract In this paper the author supplements a previous article on the same subject, entitled "Cutting. Based on Economic Increment," by a specific example of the application of the method to a stand of white pine on the Pack Forest at Warrensburg, N. Y. During the 5 years following a cutting that removed 47 percent of the board-foot volume, the stand grew at the rate of 4.0 percent compound interest in cubic-foot volume, 4.5 percent in board-foot volume, and 6.4 percent in net stumpage realization Value. The author believes that in another 15 or 20 years, after several more "economic cuttings," the entire stand should be reproduced by the shelterwood method.
