The growing digital technology has had an opposite impact on corporate governance and human resource leadership. What to do to apply technology in personnel innovation and reduce costs, thereby improving business efficiency, is a problem that many Vietnamese businesses are interested in. In Vietnam, the Industrial Revolution 4.0 is seen as an opportunity for economic and social development. The 4.0 technology revolution is an opportunity to realize the nation's prosperous aspirations. Taking advantage of opportunities from this revolution is a crucial factor in determining the success of the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country. The article discusses the Fourth Industrial Revolution 4.0 and its impact on economic development as well as on the application of science and technology in human resource management to promote economic development. The author analyzed and applied science and technology in human resource management to promote economic development in the industrial revolution of 4.0 in Vietnam. Finally, the article proposes some effective measures to apply science and technology in human resource management to promote the economy of Vietnam in the fourth industrial revolution.
