In February 2022, a salvage excavation was conducted at H orbat Zekharya, within the Modi‘in Technological Park (Permit No. A-9227; map ref. 197296–422/647857–8043; Fig. 1) prior to construction. The excavation, on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and funded by the Yahav Nahmias Ltd., was directed by O. Danziger, with the assistance of Y. Amrani (administration), Y. Elisha (preliminary trials and area supervision), I. Jonish (surveying, drafting and photography), A. ‘Azab (district archaeologist) and I. Kornfeld (region archaeologist).
