During October–November 2018, an underwater survey was conducted along the Newe Yam coastline (License No. S-849/2018; map ref. 193181–629/729193–31664). The survey, on behalf of the Recanati Institute of Maritime Studies, University of Haifa, was directed by E. Arkin Shalev (photography and 3D modeling), R. Nickelsberg and A. Yasur-Landau, with the assistance of B. Clark and S. Lantos (divers) and E. Grauer and I. Avisara (boat operators). The gratitude of the survey directors is extended to Mr. S. Ben-Ami, for providing information on the location of some of the finds prior to the survey.
