Alzheimer’s disease, as the most common type of dementia, has become an important public health problem due to the lack of effective diagnosis and treatment measures. Traditional Chinese medicine has outstanding advantages in the prevention and treatment of AD. This article will summarize the pathogenesis and treatment methods of AD in traditional Chinese medicine, in order to provide help for further clinical prevention and treatment of AD.
