Geoboard is an effective learning tool for introducing geometric concepts to young children. Geoboard is a nailed board that is used to make geometric shapes with the help of rubber bands and geometric drawing cards. The aim of this research is to assess the ability of children aged 4-5 years in group A of Dharma Wanita Kindergarten Kalitengah in understanding the concept of recognizing geometry, especially regarding the use of geoboard media in the learning process. This research uses quantitative experimental research methods. Statistical tests were carried out using the N-Gain test using the SPSS 23 application. Based on the N-Gain test that was carried out, results were obtained in the high category. The results showed that using a geoboard had a significant influence on their ability to draw basic geometric shapes more precisely. The proper selection of learning media is crucial in influencing the understanding of geometric shapes concepts.
