In Aceh, customary settlements are thought to offer victims of domestic violence more justice-based legal protection. This study intends to analyze how domestic violence cases are resolved in terms of Aceh's cultural characteristics. The maja hadith "Luka tasipat, darah tasukat" is taken into account when a non-penal settlement is made in Aceh. This study employs normative legal research and legal resources, including relevant statutes, rules, books, and periodicals. The study's findings demonstrate that local cultural solutions to domestic violence in Aceh might give victims of the crime legal security and justice. This fits with the philosophy of dignified justice when it comes to handling domestic violence case.
