On Certain Areas of Research of Advocate's Community Activities and the Advocacy Institution

The article deals with issues related to the organization and conduct of systematic scientific research of advocacy. The author identifies certain areas of scientific research, including: definition of the subject of the science of advocacy and the bar; bibliographic work; sociology of the bar; work with the terminological apparatus of the law corporation; analysis and systematization of the local regulatory framework of the bar; research of the history of the bar; formation of specific approaches to management in the bar; research of disciplinary practice in order to unify it; ensuring the digital transformation of the legal profession. As a result of the conducted research, the author comes to the conclusion about the need for further development on a systematic basis of scientific work in the field of advocacy research, which should become one of the priorities for the law corporation. According to the author, a program of comprehensive scientific research of advocacy and advocacy should be formed.
