Objectives The purpose of this study was to assess the effectiveness of an online Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model for fostering entrepreneurship in the context of COVID-19. To achieve this, an educational program based on the PjBL model was implemented, and an analysis of its learning outcomes was conducted. Methods For this research, 117 middle and high school talented students participated in the online Project-Based Learning (PjBL) program for fostering entrepreneurship, conducted by Center for creative entrepreneur. To evaluate the effectiveness of online PjBL, Learner satisfaction and attitudes towards the program were analyzed. Additionally, its impact on the key competencies essential for young entrepreneurs and career development competencies was examined. Results The results indicated a high level of satisfaction with online PjBL for entrepreneurship, with a satisfaction rating of 4.44 out of 5.00 (SD=0.61), representing an 88% satisfaction level. Learner attitudes were rated at 3.90, corresponding to a 78% level of satisfaction. Furthermore, the analysis revealed a positive and significant relationship between satisfaction and attitudes towards online PjBL and the development of key competencies for young entrepreneurs and career advancement. Conclusions Based on these research findings, several implications for enhancing the effectiveness of online Project-Based Learning in the context of entrepreneurial spirit and entrepreneurship education were discussed, and recommendations for future research were provided.
