In the presented scientific article, the authors had the opportunity to identify the main socio-psychological causes, determinants, conditions for the formation of criminal behavior of a fraudster; ways of committing criminal acts by him; types of personality of a fraudster and give them a socio-psychological characteristic. The article provides a legal and psychological analysis of the victim behavior of victims of fraud and suggests directions for the development of measures to prevent it of a socio-psychological nature.
