Developing a concept for the development of medical care, the result of which will be improving the lives of older people, alleviating their pain and suffering, ensuring independence, participation, care, realizing internal potential, and the dignity of views on old age as a period of fairly productive and active life, is quite urgent a problem that requires an adequate solution. Target. Organization of care for elderly and senile patients in the Nursing Home. Results. The demand for nursing services among the elderly population was determined, and the capabilities of nursing staff in providing medical and social care and independence in decision-making within their competencies were assessed.Conclusion. The activities of a nurse in a nursing home will make it possible to optimally organize and provide assistance to elderly and senile people; it is a timely comprehensive examination of various parameters that allows one to effectively overcome the problems of this category of patients.
