Method: The research method used is normative legal research that focuses on coherence between principles, concepts, and positive legal rules. Results: The results of this study indicate that the Decision of the Honorary Council of the Constitutional Court Number 02 / MKMK / 11/2023 states that Anwar Usman was proven to have committed serious violations of the code of ethics and behavior of constitutional judges in a state of law; the position of the ruler and the people in the eyes of the law are the same (equal) and not people who have power will feel immune to the law. In carrying out their duties as Constitutional Court Judges, they must uphold the code of ethics and not abuse trust, position, or authority for personal or group interests. Therefore, the decision of the Honorary Council of the Constitutional Court Number 02/MKMK/L/1/2023 imposed on the Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court is expected to restore public trust in the institution of the Constitutional Court. Limitations: The limitation of this research is the decision of MKMK Number 02/MKMK/L/11/2023 and the code of ethics of the office.
