Abstract To enhance the disturbance resistance of the control system for a small-scale turbojet engine, research has been conducted on the active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) method. With gas generator speed N g as the control parameter, an ADRC control scheme was established. Tracking Differentiator (TD), Nonlinear State Error Feedback (NLSEF), and Extended State Observer (ESO) were analyzed in detail, and their parameters were designed. The ADRC method was compared with the Expert PID control method through simulation experiments. The results show that ADRC has a small overshoot and strong disturbance rejection capabilities, allowing for a faster recovery to a steady state when disturbances occur.
