In this study, the researcher addresses the prophetic aspect of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) according to the modern thinker Khalil Abdul Kareem. It aims to elucidate the most important beliefs held by Abdul Kareem and critique them by referring to what is mentioned in the Holy Quran and biography books. The study discusses Abdul Kareem's opinion regarding the potential human contribution to the making of prophets. Abdul Kareem believes that the family of Pharaoh contributed to the making of the prophethood of Moses, peace be upon him, and that the prophethood of Jesus, peace be upon him, resulted from human contribution represented by Zachariah, John, Mary, and her husband Joseph the carpenter. As for the prophethood of Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family, he believes that it was primarily facilitated by Lady Khadija, peace be upon her, with assistance from her cousin Waraqah ibn Nawfal. One of the most important issues discussed in the study is the narration attributed to Lady Aisha regarding the beginning of revelation and the controversies and doubts surrounding it, which Abdul Kareem considers as strong evidence for the potential human contribution to the making of the Prophet, peace be upon him and his family. The problematic issue addressed in this research revolves around the following question: What is the modernist thinker's perspective on the human aspect of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family)? As for the significance of the study, it lies in defending the reality of the Muhammadan revelation mentioned in many verses of the Holy Quran. It clarifies that revelation, in general, is purely divine and has no place for human contribution. Additionally, it serves as a Quranic critique of some fabricated narratives upon which modernist thinkers like Khalil Abdul Kareem and others rely, in their attempt to deny the reality of the Muhammadan revelation and claim it to be merely a vision that occurred in a dream. One of the most significant findings of the researcher is that fabricated narratives serve as the stick leaned on by modernists in their attempt to refute the beliefs of Muslims. Also, the vivid aspect of the Prophet, peace be upon him and his family, and all prophets, is nothing but the making of a purely divine being, and humans cannot contribute to it as claimed by the modernist Khalil al-Karim.
