In this work, a discrete-time feedforward comb filter suitable for time-mode signal processing (TMSP) is proposed. The frequency response of the proposed filter is digitally programmable. Both the input and the output of the proposed system are synchronous with the sampling signal, which is also characterized by modular and hierarchical design. As a result, this filter can be used as building block for the implementation of higher-order time-mode systems. The comb filter was designed and verified in TSMC 65nm technology process. The sampling rate was 5MHz, the voltage supply was 1.2V, consuming 540gW for the use of 9 unit delay taps.
