A good coordinated development model within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is conducive to achieving China's high-quality deveoppment requirements. Using multi-source data such as financial service points of interest and nighttime light data, combined with kernel density method and collaborative development gravity model, this paper comprehensively analyzes the financial and scientific innovation strength as well as the production and life of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and draws the following conclusions: First, The financial density centers of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area are generally distributed in the places with high social level. From 2018 to 2021, the financial density centers of the Bay Area are concentrated in the west of Guangzhou, the south of Hong Kong, the south of Shenzhen, the east of Foshan and the junction of Zhuhai and Macao. Second, The coordinated development of the Bay Area mainly relies on the connect-ion between Shenzhen, Dongguan, Guangzhou and Foshan. Third, Combined with the gravity model of collaborative development, three urban subgroups are formed: Foshan-Guangzhou-Zhaoqing, Hong Kong-Shenzhen-Dongguan-Huizhou and Macao-Zhuhai-Zhongshan-Jiangmen. The maximum circulation of resources is achieved within the subgroups.
