The paper has shed light on the sentiment and behaviour of retail investors all over the globe towards the "derivative trading market". It has been identified in the research, that the inclusivity of the derivative market created equal opportunities for retail investors along with institutional investors who previously dominated this market alone. The study includes a secondary data collection method by considering both the qualitative and quantitative data on the research topic. It has been found that herd behaviour and impulsive sentimental decisions are often observed among retail investors while trading due to a lack of knowledge and access to financial institutions.
