The publication is dedicated to the exhibition of previously unexhibited printed, handwritten and photographic materials, graphic and watercolor works from the funds of the Museum-Archive of the History of Study and Development of the European North of the Barents Centre of Humanities of the Kola Science Centre of the Russian Academy of Sciences, which was carried out during the Russian expeditions of the 18th–20th centuries or used for their successful implementation. All exhibited museum objects, which have, to varying degrees, cultural, historical and artistic value, are potential historical sources for studying the 300–year genesis of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
