Integrating people with disabilities into the labor market is a key objective of modern social and economic policies. This article examines national legislative frameworks, as well as programs implemented to support the employment and retention of people with disabilities. It also highlights the role of the private sector and non-governmental organizations in promoting inclusive employment practices. Despite the efforts made, inclusion remains a challenge due to social prejudice, inadequate infrastructure, and a lack of real career opportunities. The article concludes that, to ensure a more inclusive labor market, closer collaboration between public institutions, employers, and civil society is needed, alongside the implementation of long-term sustainable policies.
