Purpose: This study aimed to develop an AI Convergence Education program to the AI educational competencies of pre-service teachers. Method: For this, data collected through questionnaires, reflection journals, and interviews were qualitatively analyzed. Results: The results showed a significant improvement in the pre-service teachers' AI teaching competencies, particularly in designing and implementing lessons using AI tools. The average score increased from 3.41 in the pre-test to 4.59 in the post-test, confirming the effectiveness of the program in enhancing pre-service teachers’ capabilities. Conclusion: There is also a need to enhance the focus on hands-on learning related to AI ethics, data protection, and machine learning to better equip teachers with the ability to effectively implement AI education in classrooms. By addressing these areas, the AI Convergence Education program can continue to improve the AI convergence teaching competencies of pre-service teachers and contribute to the successful implementation of AI-integrated education in schools.
