Introduction Transgender and gender diverse people (TGD) face discrimination in workplace and healthcare settings, and worse health outcomes especially in HIV and sexual health. Pronoun sharing is recognized as good practice in promoting trans-inclusivity for both staff and service users, however it is not yet standard practice in the UK National Health Service (NHS). We conducted a national survey of NHS staff working at sexual health and HIV services to explore acceptability, barriers and facilitators to sharing and using correct pronouns.
