Current approaches to artificial general intelligence (AGI) often rely on monolithic modelsintended to encompass all cognitive forms within a single architecture. This paradigmfaces escalating limitations in scalability, adaptability, and self-improvement. We introducethe I3A framework (Autonomous Artificial Intelligent Agents), a distributed cognitivearchitecture comprising specialized agents capable of structural self-evolution. The Noeseproject serves as its inaugural operational implementation, exhibiting emergent behaviorssuch as the autonomous creation and integration of novel cognitive agents during reasoningcycles. These findings herald a shift from static general intelligence to architecturalintelligence, where cognition advances by dynamically reorganizing and extending its ownstructure. This work outlines the theoretical foundations, initial experimental framework, and preliminary results from a self-evolving cognitive ecosystem.
