The hypothesis of the study was the assumption that the practice of using psychodiagnostic techniques by penitentiary psychologists with the required representativeness can help determine the possibilities of identifying the predisposition of individual youth to commit illegal acts of a terrorist nature. The purpose of the study is to establish the possibilities of identifying the predisposition of individual youth to commit illegal acts of a terrorist nature based on the analysis of the results of the use of psychodiagnostic techniques by penitentiary psychologists in the practice of working with convicts. The research materials and methods were: an analysis of the theoretical and methodological foundations of the study of terrorism, an analysis of the practice of organizing psychodiagnostics of those convicted of terrorism. As a result of the study, the constituent elements of the model for assessing the risk of radicalization of young people have been identified.
