A BSTRACT Introduction: This systematic literature review introduces the Nurse-Led Multifactorial Intervention Programs (NLMIP) and their potential to decrease psychological problems and enhance well-being and quality of life among elderly. It highlights the challenges faced by an aging global population, emphasizing the importance of addressing psychological issues, wellbeing, and overall quality of life. The pivotal role of nurses in delivering comprehensive care and the promise of NLMIPs in meeting the specific needs of the elderly are discussed. Methods: The data bases like Pubmed, Scopus, Cochrane library, Web of science, Google scholar etc., were accessed to search the research studies. Through the search strategy, 145 studies were selected after applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Finally 37 studies were included in this review. Results: The results section summarizes the key findings from the review. It highlights the impact of NLMIPs on the psychological problems, well-being and quality of life among elderly individuals. Specific outcomes include a significant reduction in symptoms of depression, stress, and anxiety, increased self-esteem, and an overall improvement in mental well-being. Additionally, the section discusses the positive effects on physical health, increased social engagement, and an overall enhancement of the wellbeing and quality of life for the elderly population as a result of NLMIPs. Conclusion: The study concluded a positive impact of NLMIPs on elderly psychological problems, well-being and quality of life, underlining the vital role of nurses in geriatric care. The review concludes by emphasizing the significance of nurse-led interventions in decreasing the psychological problems and enhancing the overall well-being of the aging population, and the potential for future advancements in this field.
